Hall County Man Dead After Soccer Game Shooting

A Hall County man is dead after being shot multiple times at a soccer game on Sunday afternoon.

Hall County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from a park on the eastside of Hall County.

After arriving on the scene, deputies discovered a 46-year-old Hispanic male had been shot multiple times and was found deceased.

The suspected shooter was arrested on scene by Hall County Marshalls, who were working security for the game.

Hall County Sheriff’s Sergeant Stephen Wilbanks said that the two men apparently knew each other.

The suspected shooter has been identified as 40-year-old Saul Castillo.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.

At this time, the investigation into the shooting continues by the Hall County’s Sheriff’s Office.
