As we get into the warm weather, the Governors Office of Highway Safety is reminding drivers to share the road with bikes. Spokesman Harris Blackwood says too many bike riders are getting killed on Georgia roads.

“We saw an increase in 2012 from 18 fatalities from 14 the year before, percentage wise that sounds a little high 28% or so. The problem is that is 18 to many.”

He says car drivers need to watch out for bikes….and bike riders need to obey the rules of the road as well
