U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, one of Georgia’s Republican representatives, announced yesterday that Tate O’Rourke, his Field Representative for Northeast Georgia, will hold an open office day for constituents on Friday, October 12 in Elberton, Ga.
O’Rourke will be available from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Staff Development Room of Elberton City Hall.
Isakson encourages constituents to come talk with his representative about any issues concerning the federal government, federal legislation or federal agencies, such as Veterans Affairs, the IRS, Medicare, or the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Isakson said “This open office day will help ensure that the views, concerns and local efforts of all Georgians are reflected in the operation of our office.”
As a representative for Isakson, O’Rourke is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in her region and acting as representative for Isakson when he is unable to personally attend events in the area.
