The Georgia Department of Transportation announces that Harold Mull is now Georgia DOT’s District Construction Engineer for Northeast Georgia’s District One, which includes Elbert, Madison, Hart, and Franklin Counties.
Mull has worked with DOT since 1998. He began his career as a Civil Engineer Technologist and was promoted to Construction Project Manager in 1999. Mull was responsible for all construction including managing the $40 million reconstruction of I-85 and Boggs Road Interchange.
On October 1, he will officially become the District Construction Engineer and is now responsible for construction supervision of 300 construction projects with an estimated cost of $200 million annually.
“Harold is an excellent employee,” explained Georgia DOT’s District Engineer Bayne Smith. “He knows our construction specifications in exhaustive detail and continually works to ensure construction projects meet or exceed the Departments specifications. His work ethic and construction experience make him an asset to the Department and the State of Georgia.”
