Keep Elbert County Beautiful Holds Clean Up Event this Weekend

This weekend the Keep Elbert County Beautiful (KECB) branch will participate in the “The Great American Cleanup”, and event hosted by the Keep American Beautiful organization.

The goal during the clean up will be to pick up litter at all of the county’s public boat ramps that are not located within State Parks.

Interested residents, civic groups, or church groups can pre-register for the event or can register the day of at A&D Cycles at 8:00am.

The clean up will take place between 10:00am and 12:30pm, and once completed, everyone will return to A&D Cycles at 1:00pm for a hotdog lunch.

Keep Elbert County Beautiful became an affiliated chapter of Keep America Beautiful in 2013, and their goal is to promote public interest in the general improvement of the environment of Elbert County through education and civic projects.
