The Elberton City Council received some positive feedback from a recently completed project.

The City of Elberton had recently finished a project to provide water to several people in the Whites Chapel Road area, after many reported issues of not being able to get water due to dry wells.

Mrs. Peggy Rucker, speaking on behalf of the Whites Chapel Road community, thanked the council and city workers for all their hard work on the project.

“The water was and is a blessing, we really want to thank the workers as well”, said Mrs. Rucker. “We really appreciate the service we received, and the workers were very kind as they went about their business. From the bottom of our hearts we truly thank you all.”

Mayor Guest thanked Mrs. Rucker for her kind words before concluding the Speakers from the Floor portion of last night’s city council meeting.
