Lady Devils Drop First of Three Saturday Games

August 18, 2012

Earlier this morning the Lady Devils Softball team faced off against the Stephens County Indians in the tournament taking place in Toccoa. The game started off well but quickly began leaning in the Indians’ favor when our Lady Devils were down 3 runs in the first inning. Things didn’t improve, unfortunately, especially when rain began a few innings into the game. Our team played well but the end result was with Stephens County scoring 9 runs and the Lady Devils scoring 1. Kacie Oakley was recognized as our player of the game today, batting 3 for 3.

Be sure to tune in to our coverage of the next two games our Devils playing in the Toccoa tournament, with one game beginning at 12: 00 P.M. and another at 3:30 P.M. You can tune in to 1400 WSGC AM and 96.5 FM or listen on our website at
