Lady Devils Lose First Region Game

Your Lady Diamond Devils traveled to Jackson County High School to take on the Panthers in a region game Tuesday September, 11th. The Lady Devils would take the game to extra innings but fall in the 8th 5-4.

The Lady Devils fought hard. They allowed 3 runs through the first three innings. The Devils hit well but could not place the ball in holes and were scoreless until the top of the 6th inning. Madison Fewox would come up with bases loaded and bat in a run. Devyn Terry was next in the lineup with bases still loaded and bats in another 2 runs tying up the game at 3 in the top of the 6th inning.

In the top of the 7th inning Kacie Oakley would come up and crush her second homerun in two days and give the Lady Devils the lead. However, Jackson would battle back and tie the score up to take the game into extra innings. The Devils failed to score in the top of the 8th and the Lady Panthers would go to take the victory in the bottom of the 8th. The Final score was 5-4 and your lady Devils go to 2-1 in the region
