Lincoln County will take on the Wilkinson County Warriors in the second round of the single A state playoffs this Friday after defeating Hancock Central last week. This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. It was a close contest in the last meeting between the programs with the Red Devils coming out on top 21-19. The 8-3 Warriors narrowly defeated Miller County last week in a one point 27-26 victory. Once again Lincoln is facing a foe that they have defeated once this season. It was a close game in the first match up and will probable be one again. The Warriors are averaging 41.2 points per game to Lincoln Counties 33.1. However, the Red Devil defense has only allowed 122 points so far this season while the Warriors have allowed 207. It is shaping up, on paper, to be close game so tune into 105.3 WSGC to listen. The winner of this contest will face the winner of the Dooly County and Seminole County game.
