An Athens man accused of three murders in two counties, two of which occurred in Elbert County, has been causing problems in jail.

Cesar Augusto Suarez Jr., 27, had been in the custody of the Oglethorpe County Sheriff’s Office since his arrest, the agency recently decided to house Cesar and his brother Diego in other counties because their mother is a 911 dispatcher in Oglethorpe, said Oglethorpe County Sheriff Mike Smith.

Cesar was sent to Wilkes County while Diego was transferred to Walton County.

Cesar has been booked into the Clarke County Jail, because he was causing problems, such as getting into fights with other inmates in the Wilkes County jail.

The Suarez brothers were indicted Nov. 9 for the Bowman double homicide by an Elbert County grand jury. They were indicted for another murder in Oglethorpe County three weeks later.
