Friends Helping Friends, a club at Elbert County High School that assists students with special needs will be sponsoring a Fall Tennis Tournament. FHF sponsor Sandy Adams tells us how this idea of a fundraiser came up.
“Kaylee Kirby, who is a FHF member, she asked me if I would be interested in allowing her and Devon Davis host a tennis tournament to help benefit the FHF club. Of course I said that would be a great idea, and Devon typed up a brochure and I thought it was wonderful”, said Adams.
The Tennis Tournament will be held at the Coggins Tennis Complex at McWilliams Park on Friday November 30th starting at 5pm and Saturday December 1st starting at 9am. The entry deadline for this tournament is on Monday November 26th and it is very important to sign up by this date.
The cost to enter is $15 for one event and $25 for both. All participants will receive a t-shirt and all ages are welcome starting from middle school, high school and adults.
