Don’t drink and drive; a message that Elbert County seemed to take to heart during the New Year Holiday time period.
According to reports from both the Elberton Police Department and the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, there were no reported incidents of Driving under the Influence occurring in Elbert County, the city of Bowman or in the city of Elberton.
