A fun and unique event is coming up at the Elbert County Comprehensive High School towards the end of this month.
The Georgia Appalachian Center for Higher Education will host a “Reality Store” for students at ECCHS on Friday, April 26th from 7:30am until 11:45am.
The purpose of the “Reality Store” is to help students learn basic skills in financial planning, goal setting, decision-making, and career planning.
During the event, students will visit a series of stations at which they will spend their projected monthly income on living expenses.
Throughout their time at the store, students will be faced with unexpected life events, both good and bad, which will impact their monthly cash flow.
