Routine Road Maintenance Continues in Wilkes County

Georgia DOT Maintenance crews are expected to continue work on sealing minor cracks in the roadway on State Route 47.

The work will take place between mile markers six thru seven. Work is scheduled for today and tomorrow between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.

There will be another crew clearing vegetation along State Route 44 between mile markers thirteen thru twenty.

This work is scheduled for today and tomorrow between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, and on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00am until noon.

Motorists are asked to use caution and to reduce their speed through these and any work zones they come across.
