Royston Woman Facing Manufacturing Methamphetamine Charges

An arrest over the Columbus Day weekend lands a Royston woman behind bars on drug charges.

The first incident, which resulted in the arrest of 43-year-old Sharon Roberts of Royston, came after a search conducted during a traffic stop located a quantity of Meth Oil in the vehicle.

Roberts was transported to the Elbert County Detention Center after her arrest on charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, No Seatbelt, and Expired Registration.

Roberts currently remains in custody at the detention center, at this time bond has not been set or posted.
