The hunt is finally over for a suspect who fled the scene of a traffic stop earlier this month on foot.

46-year-old Randall Parham of Vanna, GA was arrested yesterday afternoon at a Quill Road address in Bowman, GA by officers with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office and State Probation officers.

Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews said Parham fled the scene of a traffic stop that occurred on October 11th, where he was the passenger of a vehicle.

“While getting the driver’s information, the deputy noticed Mr. Parham jumping out of the vehicle and taking off across a field”, said Andrews. “After further investigation at the scene, a jar of meth oil was located inside of the stopped vehicle.”

Parham is charged with a felony count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine and another count of Obstruction of an Officer.

After his arrest, Parham was transported to the Elbert County Detention Center, where he remains in custody.

No word at this time if bond will be set or posted for Parham.
