Several Elbert County individuals were arrested after a search warrant was executed by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was carried out on Friday just after 1:00pm at a Granite Street Address.
Investigator Lt. Terry Reese said numerous items were seized during the search.
“Once entry was made into the residence, a search was completed”, said Lt. Reese. “Multiple quantities of marijuana, scales, prescription medication, and cash were seized.”
Arrested were 19-year-old Garret Ruff and 23-year-old Stephanie Dove, both are charged with Purchase, Possession, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana; Possession of Methamphetamine; and Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substances.
Also arrested was 31-year-old Jeremy Deitle, 34-year-old Jonathon Jordan, and 24-year-old Craig Jordan.
Deitle and Jonathon Jordan are charged with one count each of Purchase, Possession, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana.
Craig Jordan faces a charge of Criminal Attempt to Commit a Misdemeanor.
Investigator Reese said that two more arrests were made while the search warrant was being carried out.
“While still conducting the search, Drew Durham came to the residence to purchase narcotics and was arrested on scene”, said Lt. Reese. “A short time later, Bobby Allen came to the residence to purchase narcotics, and was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine and hydrocodone, and he was arrested on the scene as well.”
All seven individuals arrested were transported to the Elbert County Detention Center, and all seven were granted bond.
