A long lost golf cart reported missing in mid-April has been recovered by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office.
Originally reported missing between April 7th and April 15th the golf cart, valued at roughly four thousand five hundred dollars, was taken from a residence off of the Lincolnton Highway.
In working with the Lincoln County and Columbia County Sheriff’s Offices; the golf cart was recovered on the 12th of June.
According to Investigator Darren Scarborough with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, arrests are expected to be made in connection with this theft.
Since being recovered, the golf cart has been returned to its respective owner.
The investigation into the theft continues by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office.
