“Iron Man” Suspect Arrested in Connection With Bowman Robbery

Marvel Superhero “Iron Man” plays the role of the villain in an armed robbery attempt in Bowman.

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 27th at the Royal Foods Store in Bowman, Georgia.

Elbert County Sheriff Barry Haston said that a call came in around 3:40am that morning that a man entered the store wearing an “Iron Man” mask, confronted the clerk and ordered him behind the counter demanding money.

The subject then fled on foot with a small amount of currency, and deputies who were checking the area found the mask a short distance away from the store.

Iron Man’s identity has been revealed as Elbert County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have arrested twenty-seven year old Brandon G. Langston of an Adams Circle address, after a search warrant was executed at the residence.

Langston is being held at the Elbert County Detention Center where the Magistrate Judge is expected to deny bond.
