Elbert County Investigators were called to a Washington Highway residence by State Parole Officers, who were carrying out a warrant on an Elbert County man.
According to Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews, a search on February 7th led to three arrests.
“A quantity of crystal meth, scales, and prescription pills were located”, said Sheriff Andrews. “As a result of the search, three subjects were arrested.”
Arrested were 25-year-old Chad James Willis, 27-year-old Shena Lyn Miller, and 30-year-old Jonathan Paul Massey.
Sheriff Andrews said his department believed two of the suspects were connected.
“There was a parole warrant in effect for Chad Willis, we had information that Willis was tied to Jonathan Massey, who had a burglary warrant out on him”, said Sheriff Andrews.
Willis, who was wanted on a Parole Warrant, is also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Miller is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, and Xanax prescription pills.
Charges on Massey include a Burglary Warrant, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
All three were transferred to the Elbert County Detention Center.
