Two men from Charlotte, North Carolina will be extradited back to Franklin County to face charges of carjacking.

According to Franklin County Sheriff Stevie Thomas, deputies responded to a 911 call at the Carnesville Car Wash on Hwy 59 last Tuesday.

The victim told authorities two black males armed with guns approached him and demanded he hand over his Mercedes Benz.

Thomas said just before the carjacking, witnesses reported seeing the pair driving around Carnesville in a red Ford pick up with Texas plates and also in a silver car.

All three vehicles were seen heading out of Carnesville on SR59 and lookout was placed in Georgia and South Carolina for the vehicles.

According to Thomas, the Mercedes and the Ford pick up were later spotted by authorities in Cleveland County, North Carolina.

That led to a high-speed chase in which the suspects were eventually caught.

Arrested were 16-year old Jacinto Henderson and 18-year old Daterrious Johnson both of Charlotte, NC. Henderson will be tried as an adult.

In Georgia, both are charged with armed robbery, hijacking, and possession of a firearm during a crime.

They will be extradited back to Franklin County in the coming days, according to Sheriff Thomas.
