A license check over the weekend by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office lands two in jail.

In the early morning hours on Sunday, a license check led to a pair of arrests within a few minutes of each other.

Around 3:30am that morning, the first person arrested was 19-year-old Tavin Isaiah Mattress of Anderson, SC.

Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews runs down the charges he faces.
