Two individuals from South Carolina have been arrested on drug related charges by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office.

25-year-old Cameron Alan Lollis of Anderson and 35-year-old Winona Lee Boles of Starr, SC were arrested Saturday evening at the One Stop convenience store located off of the Calhoun Falls Highway.

Originally arrested on possession of methamphetamine charges, the pair now faces intent to distribute charges after Investigator Lt. Terry Reese said information was received about a bigger stash in the vehicle.

“After interviews with the suspects it was determined that there was possibly another amount of crystal meth inside the vehicle that had already been impounded”, said Reese. “Search warrant was obtained for the vehicle and we recovered approximately twenty grams of meth, a set of digital scales, and two firearms.”

Reese says that there is also a third suspect wanted in connection with this case.

“We believe that individual used a fake name in order to avoid not being arrested at that time”, said Reese. “The investigation will continue, and we look for arrest warrants to come for that individual.”

Lollis and Boles were transferred to the Elbert County Detention Center after their arrests.

Both are charged with Giving False Information to Law Enforcement, Possession of Meth with Intent to distribute, and Possession of Tools for Commission of a Crime.

Boles is also charged with Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects.
