WSGC Set to Participate in Groundhog Job Shadow Day

February 4, 2013

Coming up tomorrow, WSGC Radio will be participating in the annual Groundhog Job Shadow Day, which is a program at the Elbert County Middle School, and is co-sponsored by the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce.

Students will descend on our studios just after 7:00am on Tuesday, February 5th.

The students will make their on-air debuts on WSGC’s morning show. They will also learn how to record weather, as well as, help collect, write, and air news during the day.

So be sure to tune in tomorrow morning as WSGC radio will, at least for that day, have some new voices on the air.

WSGC radio is one of several local businesses that participate in the program.
